In Kind Direct is the UK charity distributing consumer goods donated by companies to UK charitable organisations working in the UK and overseas. Founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, they offer a simple solution to connect companies and their products to thousands of charities, community groups, foodbanks and schools supporting our communities. They make a difference to a staggering 249,000 people each week.
They’ve worked with over 11,476 charitable organisations and millions of people, as well as diverting 31,866 tonnes of usable goods from waste. They empower charities to do more for less and put their local knowledge at the heart of their work.
We’ve been working with InKind Direct for over 10 years as part of Pentland Brands (Pentland Brands holds the license for Kickers in the UK). Over that time we’ve supported over 700 charitable organisations through In Kind Direct. Whilst so far in 2022 we’ve support supported 74 charities and counting.
