STAY AWAY from School line-shoes Black Kick Hi
1Have been wearing and using Kickers for over 20 years. Had not had any issues with sole of the beige coloured toddler Kickers, however moving to black school shoes have been a disaster and disappointment. Have 8 yo twin boys & have bought 4 pairs since September 2021. 1) First pairs of shoes lasted from September to end of Nov-2021. a) Both sole had been completely worn out, the black sole is made of recycled porous, soft rubber which did not last for it s purpose, contrary to the old Kickers with beige sole where the sole was of really good quality. b) The shoes sole is made of CARBOARD/thick paper the very least. Which absorbs water to the shoes like no other material! c) The leather is poorly treated, scratches after the first week of use. Which was the least of my concerns given how the sole lasted. Been looking after the leather by applying leather shoe product every 2 days, however, nothing can be done to the porous ruber sole and the carboard in between. d) the inner leather lining is switched to polyester... At 55£ a pair this level of quality is unacceptable, Kickers should stop using the labels of "durable and long lasting" shoes, as sadly it is not the case anymore, although the style is style intact and great. I thought the first 2 pairs might have been fake copies, so went ahead and order another 2 pairs which arrived first week of December. Sadly same scenario. After 4 pairs giving the same results, I am sadly moving away from the school shoes line from Kickers. If you are after sturdy, quality made shoes, these are not for you: "black porous and very soft -recycled rubber" and the "carboard sole" are not worth it if you want sturdy good quality shoes.

3Unfortunately having purchased 2 pairs for mo Grandchildren for school, both children have suffered badly with blisters.Not sure I would buy again,depending on if blistering settles down.

1Buying shoes, I looked at the hint on the site. Got shoes 5 sizes more. And the boots were stinking. I would not advise anyone to buy such shoes.
